To show how "accurate" they are, there are several sites which actually link to programs which steal passwords or cause other heavoc to a user's Messenger and/or share warez and are shown as "completely safe", so go figure.....
I don't have the link at this moment, but there are more threads which already report this very same issue with SiteAdvisor and in one of them those links I speak of are shown... You could probably find them with the forum search.

The only low 'risk' there is, is that you can explicitly install the sponsor (it will never ever be installed automatically without the user's explicit approval) and as a result are presented with ads... so, no spyware, nor virusses, nor whatever else, just ads which you explicitly should ask for.
