Speaking from the position of someone who manages enterprise IT, this isn't a problem you should even think about as an employee. This is a problem the company should solve for you, whether it means purchasing licenses or providing remote access to their systems.
If you are a contractor providing a service and the company is your client rather than your employer, then I would suggest carrying a laptop. You are not likely to have adequate upstream bandwidth at home to serve remote access to graphics intensive apps like Photoshop.
