The dot in Window's task manager on the memory size doesn't indicate decimals. Instead of 50, 100 and 300k you mean 50000, 100000 and 300000k. As in ~50, ~100 and ~300megabyte.
All the cool kids have commas not periods. Also 30k = 30,000, a k usually stands for a thousand(which you probably know) but that's probably the sense he was using it in, if not then, newb
