My Windows Live Messenger has had this error for over 4 months now, and I'm growing tired of it. I understand there have been multiple other threads about this, and I have search many times, but the bottom line is: I've tried absolutely everything. Everything apart from resetting my MTU size, because A) I never touched it to begin with, and B) I don't want to mess around with my computer. The problem first occurred when my computer over heated and I had to get Dell to come and repair it. Since then, my old router hasn't worked and I'm now using a new one. When I switched routers, my Windows Live Messenger died, and it's still dead to this day. I seem to get a certificate error whenever I enter a webpage on the Live website, and I've never been able to access links sent to me. So perhaps someone here will help me, because I haven't had any luck so far. Oh and could someone tell me if there is a way to change my MTU without fiddling with the cmd console?
