You should be able to change WLM language by replacing
msgslang.8.5.1302.1018.dll in
C:\ Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\: you only have to find the english version of this file and paste it in that folder (rename the old one as backup).
Same thing with WLM 2009 Beta, but the filename is different:
msgslang.14.0.5027.0908.dll.
Anyway I think it's better to unistall spanish version and fully reinstall the english one (after
cleaning the registry) by using
this standalone installer.
