Because I can't see custom emotes. I see when other people use custom emotes but when I use them I just see the command in both the typing box and actual convo window. I've checked the options and ticked "make custom emotes visible" or whatever it says so that can't be the problem.
Also, I've noticed that (because my friend also has the new 9.0 beta) when I open up a window with her, the top of my msn (which was a grey colour) changes to the colour/skin which
she's chosen to use on her main contact section. It's the same with her as well, she can see the grey colour in her contact window rather than her own colour. I've tried changing the colour back to the one I want but it keeps changing back to her colour.
