Hello all.

I have just (almost) finished reinstalling my PC. Among other tasks of course was installing Messenger and Plus!

The versions of Messenger that I have now are different from the ones I had before the full PC installation: I now have Windows Live Messenger Version 2009 build 14.0.8050.1202 and Plus! Beta 4.79.0.353. I can't remember the versions I was using up until 2 days ago, sorry.

As I said in the title I now have problems checking my email, even though that always worked fine in the older versions. My settings are correct, exactly as they've been for many years, yet I keep getting an error message "The mail server could not be contacted or refused your information. Please check your settings and try again".

These settings work fine in Outlook Express, but not in Messenger Plus!

Is there anyone who can offer a solution to this problem? Or is this beta simply not finished?
