O.P. Ideas for a flash mob
For those of you who don't know what a flash mob is, its an event that happens with a large group of people who meet in a public spot and do something completely odd, strange, or otherwise attention grabbing. I'm looking for some ideas on an event here where I live for November 14 (its an organized date).
I'm looking for some ideas for what to do. Some past ideas that have happened are everyone wears funny hats/costumes, dances to something, pillow fight. Last year everyone dressed in hunters' orange. On my list so far, I am considering is for everyone to bring music playing devices like boom boxes, cassette decks, 8-track players etc (the older the better) and have everything playing at once. Another idea mentioned to me by someone else is a mock funeral.
The idea is to have something weird and stand out, but not interfere with non-participants other than get blank stares and WTF's and of course be legal. Can anyone provide any other unique suggestions?
