your idol? lol-I wouldn't go THAT far! My mom speaks Portuguese btw-she made me learn the whole Mashkinada when I was 12 and dance around my 7th grade music class in a full Carmen Miranda ensemble-fruit basket and all. Was by far one of the most embarrassing moments of my life.
She actually transliterated the whole song so I could understand it and made me practice it until she was confident I was street legal.
I've heard of Esperanto but I see no point to learn it.
Right now I am learning Arabic which I think is far more practical-actually. After Arabic I think I'll brush up on my Spanish (it's decent but rusty) and maybe attempt Portuguese or French afterward.
