O.P. APPCRASH
My friend has been using Messenger for five years without a problem.
She uses Vista.
Suddenly yesterday, it quit working. When she clicks to try to open Messenger to sign in, it immediately crashes and Says "Windows Live Messenger has stopped working". "APPCRASH" seems to be the reason.
She tried downloading it again. No dice.
She tried uninstalling it and downloading it again. No dice.
She can use EBuddy to get it but no voice clips etc.
How can we approach this problem? Are there other things to try or look for? Is there other info that can be gathered to help find the solution?
