yo, is some1 working for a Handwrithing plug-in for other computers then XP and 2000?
i really need it, my friends make me realy crazy by that tool, and now i want to make some1 else crazy...
but i don't have XP or 200-
It's impossible, because Micro$oft made their Ink Redistributable (one of the most important parts that make HandWriting work) only compatible with Windows 2000/XP/2003...
So, ask Microsoft for this As far as I know, no one has been able to "change the mechanics" yet.

He said that in the next version he would detect if the user used Windows 98 - and then tell the user that HandWriting plugin could not be installed
He's good like that
Thats a bit spiteful of Microsoft though I wonder if theres any reasoning behind it not working

They only supply updates, apart from security fixes, to the last two (or something like two) versions. When they brought out the Ink files idea, 98 was too old for them to spend money developing it for 98.

Yes tat's true. But i think that would be a very hard thing todo. And because more and more people are makig the switch to XP i doubt if it wil be worth the ard work.
But hey, if anybody want to do it, you're welcome.
why use an outdated os like Windows 98? Just upgrade to Windows XP or Windows 2000...if you don't have the money to buy them, then forget about the Handwriting plugin....it won't work with 98...for now.
