hmmm WinAmp

One of the best Audio programs in my opinion

Mp3tag - The best tagger (imo) for mp3's with aid of freedb
Firefox - Best browser (imo)

I'll post more when I recall them

I like Boost XP and Tweak Xp (probably because i mess my computer up so often)

I've been meaning to look for a decent tagger so I can sort out all my mp3's into something more uniform. I'll check this out, thanks

Best programs for me:

Media Player Classic by Gabest - Fully featured media player with plenty of useful features - bonus is that its just one exe and not much over 1Mb in size

DVD-Lab - Excellent DVD authoring program. Easy to use, good results every time

WinRAR - Does the business when it comes to file archiving

AutoGK - Backing up DVD's made simple for monkeys

MSN Messenger 6.1 - A good Microsoft program??? Well yeah I think so. Runs solidly for me, and does the job very nicely.

Messenger Plus! - Makes the above piece of software really special The first program I put on my machine after a reinstall

Firefox - Best software. Used about 50x more than anything else by me

Me too I think it's Open source, but i'm not sure ... free, anyway.

Evillyrics - FREE - A magnific Lyrics/karaoke finder that works with most music players (it's not a plugin) (Still under dev, although stable enough)
Freemind - Open Source - Helps you to organize information and to structure ideas. Very original, try it (Still under dev)
XnView - FREE - This is a program to navigate through images in a huge number of formats, export them to another big number of formats, take screenshots in many ways, resize, crop, basic edition functions, scan, etc...

PowerTab is good . I composed some things with it... it's neat.
Btw, don't post programs that were already said,

what's fireworks?

It's a picture editor by Macromedia (just like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro). It's commercial and expensive, btw.
