doesnt the topic say it all .

i wanted the hand writing plugin for win 98 as well couz i use win98 ... due to some network restrictions these dayz.

i was browsing through mess be so there i found something for ink pen or hand writing thingy that it only works on XP and if u dont have XP then download these files . I downloaded that zip file .. it was of 17.5 mb ... so is it going to work ?

but neways .. it would be cool if the hand writing plugin was also for win98

Hardly can it be though The core of Handwriting matters is Ink Redistributable, made by Microsoft, and they made it only available to NT-Based (2000+) systems. There must be something that 95-based Windows doesn't support Well, I suggest you tell Microsoft about this

but neways .... so does this mean that the handwriting plugin wont be for win98.

or u guyz can give us the necessary files in the zip file for downloading so that we may be able to use it with win98 as well

That note is very confusing (I already mailed about it but no-one bothers to change it)....  As the people here already said, handwriting/ink redistributables/infopen does not work on win98 in any way. It only works on NT-based Windows systems, this means Windows 2000 (latest service pack), Windows XP and Windows Server 2003....

well i tried that file .. it didnt work . it was actually for mailing purpose only n moreover was for chinese or what so i couldnt understand nething n just deleted it .

but neways .. if its not going to come for Win98 . ok then .

Didn't InfoPen work with Windows 98?

It's not NT based?

Yes, Windows Milennium Edition is 95-based (4.90.3000). Ink Redistributables can not be installed on Windows Me
