What is the program that makes lets say, mp3 music that is 128kbps and turns it into a 192 kbps or higher, mp3 convert or encoder....i forgot

i use dbpoweramp to ocnvert musics i odnt know if its that u are talking prog. about but this program is a gr8 one

You can't turn an mp3 file from 128kbps to 192kbps, the file will be bigger but the quality will be the same, once you encode audio to mp3, some quality is lost and you can't get it back. However, you can do the opposite (reduce its quality).

Oh really? well when i download something in WinMX and play in Windows Media it goes to 192kpbs

I think loparda it right..  when I convert a 128 kb mp3 file to 192 with dBpoweramb  the quality is still the same

then the file isn't 128kbps, but 192kbps... as lopardo has said, there is no way that a 128kbps file can be upgraded to 192kbps....

It's like playing an old bad VHS tape and expecting it to see as high definition DVD-quality... impossible....

The program Paperless gave is very good. I use it myself, but I use it to convert 192 to 128 (to reduce size when I want to put it on my mp3 player ).

Cookie is right, maybe WinMX is showing a wrong number.
