can u tell me how can i set my pop3 email in MSGPLUS
what  do i put in the Server ,, port  , and all those things
can u give me an example , plz

What is the email address well the domain that you are trying to use? We need to know that in order to try and find the port.

By domain I mean like hotmail.com, gmail.com, etc.

The port will likely be 110 unless it requires a secure connection then it is 995. (Secure connections are not support in the POP3 version of the Current Plus! Public Beta).

so ,, i have  myemail@spymac.com, myemail@gawab.com, myemail@gmail.com.. i dont no how to set, ? can u tell me  how all the setting to put, cuz , once i try , spymac.com in domain and port like 110, but it didnt work

Spymac:
Server: mail.spymac.com
SSL Required: No
Port: 110

Gawab:
Server: pop3.gawab.com
SSL Required: No
Port: 110

GMail:
Server: pop.gmail.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 995

For GMail you will have to wait until Messenger Plus! 3.50 is released to be able to use the SSL connections.

I got msn 7.0.0632 and msn 3.5 now

but when I install the pop3 like mentioned above I get the message: 590 new messages..... while I have 590 messages that are read

also when I click on the email-enveloppe msn goes to outlook express but when I click on a pop up message "you have 590 new messages" msn goes to www.gmail.com

how do I set my options to always go to www.gmail.com instead of outlook express??

Plus! only reads the amount of emails in the inbox not the total unread.

The email envalope will open your default mail client. Patchou never change that. It should have been but it wasn't. Maybe StuffPlugNG will do this in the future.

Thats good news matty, someone told me that pop3 email capabilities are going to be limited to a simple notifier; like the one already implemented.

What should we expect and when?

He said SPNG may add these features in the future , so if your talking about that then i wouldn't count on it happening any time soon

i tried pop3.hehe.com and mail.hehe.com, didn't work
the site is www.myownemail.com and u can choose from lots of addresses from there...can u help plz ?

You must search your email provider site for the POP server name and the Smtp server name...you don't choose them urself...
