It won't let me uninstall or delete it.

I go to Add-Remove programs and there is a little Busy icon over the Msg+ bar, meaning i can't uninstall it.

If this is done on purpose then it's right out of order.

Any help appreciated.

please show a screen shot. I dont understand what u mean by busy icon.

And yes msg plus can definetly be uninstalled.

thats not the busy icon, you can uninstall it, its just the uninstall messenger plus! icon, its the new icon...

Don't worry, just close msn and uninstall it .

When I click on remove then something flashes up and nothing happens

thats what i get when i try and delete then desktop icon

Press alt+ctrl+del go to processes and end the process "MsgPlus.exe"... Now try and uninstall, it should work, it probably didn't delete because the process was still running.

ok so i got the desktop icon gone.

any ideas on them 2 those

ok do the following:

install msg plus again (so all the files are back up and everything is good)
uninstall msg plus

it should work now, because all the files were rewritten and it was a proper installation.

Right got rid of it, thx for the help.

New problem. Now when i sign into msn i get this, then it crashes and get the 'program is not respondin'

That's a problem with the version of msn messenger that you have, I suggest that you downgrade for a while until this mysterious patch comes out or there is a new version of MSNM7.

I'm on MSN7. the full version that was released a few days ago.

is it still possible to use 6.2 and 7(beta)?
