O.P. Huh?  Graphics card memory??
i recently got a Inno3D Tornado GeForce FX 5200 graphics card.
on the box, its written 128 MB DDR. but in my computer, it says the card is 256 MB. even the shopkeeper told me its 256 MB. i wanna know what exactly is the card of.
i searched the net and everywhere it says 128 MB.
also, on the box, it says its AGP 8X but i have it installed in a PCI slot.
but then why does it say 256 in my comp.
can someone clear this up?

If the system says there's 256MB, there's 256MB. Also, if you have it in a PCI slot, it's not AGP 8X is it?
I think the card you have is not the one that's meant to be in the box.

According to reviews, the card can come in either 64MB DDR or 128MB DDR, so it is 128 MB dude...

Reboot and look at what the very first screen says (should boot up showing "nVidia GeForce 5200 blah blah" it'll tell you how much Memory the BIOS is detecting.  That is the amount it has, the BIOS can't be fooled as easily as software can.

the very first screen says:
nvidia (something something i dont rem exactly)...
256 MB RAM
the box on the site above is the same as the box i got,
but the name of the card in the software is  same as on the box.
this is weird.

If the BIOS says 256MB, then chances are you have 256MB. I can't really think of more conclusive proof tbh.

There isn't more conclusive proof without actually checking each memory module on hte card individually with the naked eye.  The BIOS will read the Hardware Code from the card which if it's wrong, won't work.

Congrats on getting more VRAM than expected.
