O.P. Spyware ???
Hello! I use to use Messenger Plus! and loved it..
But, I downloaded a anti-spyware program and it said it contained adware/spyware, and was a medium threat to my computer.
Does this program contain spyware?? I really want to use this again, but my PC keeps saying it's spyware!
Any help? Thanks.
As I am,

O.P. RE: Spyware ???
But, wait...
I received an update when I had it, that said Messenger Plus! needed to be updated, and when it was finished, it left bad links and pictures all over my desktop..
What caused that?
Thanks again,
Sonseeahray

RE: Spyware ???
You accidentally installed the sponsor.
Uninstall and reinstall and be careful and click no.

Oh...Ok..
But will my Microsoft Anti-Spyware still detect it as spyware/adware?
Thanks,

RE: Spyware ???
Take a look to Matty's post, yes, MSAS will still detect Messenger Plus!, but only as adware not spyware

O.P. RE: Spyware ???
Thats a rip off.
I'm not allowed to install anything that Microsoft AntiSpyware detects as adware or spyware...
I'm really sad.

RE: Spyware ???
Who's stopping you? Just add it to your ignore list and it won't detect it.

RE: Spyware ???
Yes, and it detects the installer, not the exe itself.
