RE: travelling with a laptop
Will they let you use a laptop on a plane
I bought my laptop on the plane and they said im defiantly not allowed to use it becuase of the signals it sends out e.g bluetooth, wireless...etc
So I dont know if they will let you on with a laptop.

thy should, its just that you cant use it on take off and landing, and i'll obviously turn wifi and bluetooth off to save power
i'll bring the travel passport that came with it to show, so i guess they dont care about laptops, thnx

Ever jumped inside a plane while its travelling 500mph - DON'T
They shouldn't say anything I would imagine, I've used mine before now and they didn't say anything to me

RE: travelling with a laptop
when traveling with your laptop as a carry on:
- put the laptop alone in its own bin(no carrying case or anything) when puting through the metal detector
- disable all incoming or out going signal devices
- do not use during take off or landing
- do not let it out of your sight in the airport

menthix? deleting posts?
in mexico they are allowed.... just if you see an AP on the flight dont connect to it, i saw the other day a guy who made a fake AP with his laptop on a Boing 737 and people connected to it, and he stole their documents...

Yeah, deleted mine very quickly after posting. I was more talking about taking a laptop with you in your luggage. Didn't realise you meant using it on the plane itself.

RE: travelling with a laptop
btw, be prepared to be asked to unpack it in the airport
Every time I've taken my laptop abroad, I've had to take it out and open it so take it in its own case

RE: travelling with a laptop
it depends where you are going from and where is your destination..i think they are more strict on cross-country flights.
