[font=Arial][size=2][color=red]WLM seems to sometimes have a very slow sign in rate, this didn't happen before i downloaded plus! live...
i don't wanna get rid of plus, but i can't stand this stupid slow sign in!!!

ya, i do hav those prob too.

its tooks alot of time to sign in... its way faster wen i used the previous 7.5...

sumtimes wen i point over it saes CONNECTION ERROR...

could b bcos of its new, things are different? so it requires more RAM cosing it to sign in slower?? hmmm, im nt sure... tats jus a guess..

But there is an MP!L update coming soon to solve some these problems.

WLM by default signs in awfully slow compared to MSN Messenger. I know it because here at work right now we only got a 200kbit connection for 7 computers... signing in for someone with a 50+ people contact list takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. Someone with a 300+ people contacts list needs about 4-6 minutes to sign in. I assume WLM also loads all contact information during the sign in process, not afterwards. In my opinion, that's crappy programming, but tell the people at Microsoft.

So in other words... Plus! probably doesn't have to do with it, might be just a slow connection to the Microsoft servers in that moment.

Wow, and the Messenger site says it signs in a lot faster.

I think it loads right at the end. When I sign in in my other extemely slow computer, my fast computer pops a toast, but is still loading.

Plus! may have something to do with it as it has to load all its features.

well the problem never seemed to happen once i'd insalled plus!, but then again could just be a conuicidence

Could very well be... Microsoft does say that this is the fatest sign-in time of any instant messenger out there ... I highly doubt it...

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but WLM is supposed to sign on faster, because it doesn't have to retrieve all your contacts every time... your list is temporarily saved onto the computer you're on and it will load it from there instead of the servers. All you need is to be connected and then your contacts will show their status as soon as that happens.

yeah, weird. my mate told me that it ill stop after a day for two, but no?!?!

well i just got the new plus! live and that hasn't made any difference...
one of my friends suggested singing in at hotmail.com and that wud sign it in quicker, but im not too sure
