You could just set a global variable or a local variable related to TimerId, no?

I hate to have functions with lots of (useless) parameters even thought they are optional.

The timerid can be used for that purpose .

Anyways for what's in the first post now: i think Remember Status 1.4 comes closest to what you want. Resetting to the personalised status isn't possible because there is no way in retrieving _all_ the settings of a temporary set personalized status, as the script's description says.

1- one more prameter on event ps for know the current PS number (register path: Preferences\\PersonalStatus\\status8)
2- Number total of personalized status
3- Same PS after restart wlm? (last state, last ps)
  - (With check option on\off on preferences?)

What would be a better idea is if Patchou allowed for scripts to be able to make personalized statuses.  This would be more handy in general I feel.

It isn't a better idea though. It is an additional idea ...

OnEvent_EnterPersonalizedStatus doesn't return all the parameters of a personalised status. Hence making a command to set a personalised status without also changing (adding more parameters) OnEvent_EnterPersonalizedStatus, would kind of limiting and not solving the problem of Flash26.
