hello everyone... i am the maker of vista x and i'm releasing a new update soon if i'd like to see the reaction to the consumers (you)

In the update:
new options including a multiple background chooser, title bar chooser and a toolbar chooser

this gives you alot of combinations

heres a preview attached say what u think and vote on it...

P.S. this has the default vista backgrounds plus one or two extra beta ones...

P.P.S. this originaly was the first or second vista skin (it was one of the first)

Actually, the toolbar could be colorized so there wouldn't be a need of an option. Looks good anyway.

Ok. I thought they were the same but in another color.

No because I have my own Vista Skin, and I don't like your ones logo or just plonking the background wallpaper in etc.

But I wouldn't say you ruined it as such.

Where's the "no, there are way too many vista related skins already" option?

In all honesty zogo, there are plenty of Vista Skins now.
Yours only looks like it's changed the backgrounds for wallpapers from Vista
The dashboard, it doesn't flow well it's not of a 'Vista Style'
It's hard to visually read the tabs what with them having a transparent background.
Being released early means nothing.

I started Vistafy as soon as we got the skinning engine, but because of lack of knowledge of 8.x 9.x skinning I stopped development after I couldn't replace certain images (which still are a problem in Willz Open Live, as he's not done it right for certain toolbar icons, it's annoying and tricky in short, some elements are just stubborn....) then switched to shaped skinning, with beaver and steve as I thought it'd be good for public to at least have one rushed example for a shaped skin. Now that the skinning engine has improved along with my knowledge I'm re-making Beaver and Steve, 'OR' and MSNAges </semi_rant>

Just chill, do what you want to do in your skin, after all, it's yours

technically no.

The first vista skin for messenger ever was made by myself and ipab. AeroMSN 7.5 (unless you count longhorn as vista as well, then rolando was)

Then the second one was vista live messenger by stianu89 and blue_eyes, followed by the skin by nuno peralta vista messenger ultimate. Then came AdamVesters vista skin, then came Windows Aero Messenger version 1.0 by myself.

And Windows Aero Messenger 2.0 was started before the Plus Skinning system was even announced, I just held it back a bit to release Ev0 and Zero-G because I was bored of vista.

These are all skins that did vista without resorting to using wallpapers that anyone can find.

Not trying to be mean of anything, but you did not pioneer the idea of vista skins. There were plenty of other vista skins before yours and it seems a bit egotistical that you are getting worked up about the fact that someone tells you that they don't like your skin because there are too many vista skins. You asked for opinions and you got them.

In a way I agree with Nile and Lou, as these days a lot of people think that just because they throw in a background related to vista they have a vista skin (no offense to those that have done that). I'm sure Menthix can vouch for the fact that there a way too many of these kind of skins happening.

In my opinion I think you should get something else happening because a vista skin will not do you any good in the skin contest (if you plan to enter that is).
