O.P. MSN Constantly "signing in"?
I had a message on my WLM saying update available, so I updated as you do...

But now everytime I press sign in, it just has the two spinning icons and it carries on for stupid lengths of time, I'm yet to recieve an error message

Firewall is OFF and it still does it.

Any help would be GREAT

thanks

As Echelon pointed out, it's named as Windows Live Essentials in the list. If you still cant find it, you can use ZapMessenger to uninstall it.

RE: MSN Constantly "signing in"?
I don't know about him, but i get NO error code. I'll try to explain in detail.

I open Messenger, put in E-Mail\Pass click Sign In, it starts to sign in, the little icon spins, then stops.

No error, nothing. The more i click it the more it still does nothing, i've run troubleshoot through options it still does nothing.

i HAVE found a possible solution but i'm afraid there seems to be a error with it for me, because apparently you're not allowed to have specific .dll files

code:
Reregister the security .dll files:
Windows Vista
a. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click
Command Prompt.
b. Click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation,
type the password, or click Continue.
c. Type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command line.
Note: after each command runs successfully, you receive a "DllRegisterServer
succeeded" message. Wait until you receive this message before you type the
next command.
.. regsvr32 softpub.dll
.. regsvr32 wintrust.dll
.. regsvr32 initpki.dll
.. regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
.. regsvr32 mssip32.dll
.. regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
.. regsvr32 dssenh.dll
.. regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
.. regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
.. regsvr32 sccbase.dll

Now if i do that, i get a message like this for a few of those .dll's

That makes me suspicious, and that might be the reason why MINE isn't working, M73A should try to do that as well, that should fix his, but mine still has that error.. If anyone knows how to fix those .dll's can they help me please?
