Hello RebelSean,
Thanks for your report about the wrong file type being recognized for the Script File Download. We have now changed some things on our side. Please let us know if the issue is corrected now, so your browser would download a 'Messenger Plus! Script File' (*.plsc) instead of a *.rar or *.zip.

I'm still being promt to download a .ZIP file, mynetx . On IE7 and IE8 beta 2.
Edit: After reinstalling Plus! it's not recognizing the file as a .PLSC. That's odd .
