patchou still wants to release the public beta(or alpha, dunno what he calls it) with the end of the year, maybe the first days of january, but the final 2.0 version will take some more time...
and actually yes, it's quite a "when it's done" thing, because patchou wants it to be an excellent product when releasing it

With the new boss protection, if you activated it, do the windows of your contacts still appear or do they still make sound if they sends messages?

I don't remember but I think they don't appear. The sounds will play though, but if you really need not to be found using msn you wont have the sounds on . When you press the boss prot. shortcut, all msgr windows dissapear and the messenger icon changes to the one of your choice.
