RE: Learn Japanese online (woohoo)
hmmm... when I reinstall WinXP again, I'll immediately add support for Japanese
btw, the site doesn't completely work in Opera.. that box with 'introduction' and these things, makes the text a bit annoying to read, because the text won't goas much to the left as in IE
See the attachment.. edit: The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type.

PlusFan, could you send a screenshot of Opera to webmaster AT theforeigner-japan DOT com? I'm curious to see what goes wrong and how I would be able to fix that.
P.S. you don't need to reinstall WinXP to install Japanese support. you can get instructions here.

I know 'bout these instructions, but I'm getting some errors, and gonna reinstall winXP soon anyway (when I get that f..... SuSE 9.0 ISO downloaded ), I'll send the picture. It isn't really a great deal, but it is a bit annoying

O.P. RE: Learn Japanese online (woohoo)
I have decided to hold off on publishing the Japanese grammar section until it's finished. There are too many cross links to put it online section by section. This would result in many dead links. Though these dead links would be solved over time, I fear that many people would be put off when they keep ending up nowhere when clicking many of the links.
I can't say when the grammar section will go online, but I'll try to get it up as soon as possible. Preferably before the end of February 2004 (this month), but it might be later due to the sheer size of the project. (Over 70 pages.)

RE: Learn Japanese online (woohoo)
I've never thought of learning Japanese personally, but it sounds like a good idea. It might be better if it could be adapted to other (simpler?) languages too... I had a look and it seems to go pretty quickly. Sounds like it could be useful though.
Please visit my site, Lamerde, by clicking this broken picture. It's intentional. Honestly.

That site looks really comprehensive. If and when I find the time maybe I'll give it a go
