I've also tried installing 4.01.240 , the latest which is 4.23 and the one before that 4.22. All of them give me errors. The only successful one was Messenger Plus! 3.

The patchou folder is located in the registry. Would it harm my system, since MSG Plus live! isn't installed but I deleted the registry keys  of Messenger Plus! Live?

So basically, you guys Messenger Plus! Live has a problem with gdiplus and can't be fixed..

Can I remove plus!s' registry keys if plus is not installed? Cause I had to delete the program folder in order to even remove it from my programs, but plus!'s registry keys are still in the registry.

I had the same problem
I couldn't open any messenger plus live aplication, the setup and unistaller.
GDIPLUS.DLL that was the same file my pc said was wrong, but, the problem was, I already had this file, with the normal size and location, so, I found the answer. Windows was thinking file was right because it see only the name and size, but physicaly my hard disk clusters was wrong.

Execute CHKDSK.
Just execute CMD, next type CHKDSK /F /R, then restart, and when pc boot will check and repair hard disk drive, that worked for my, I hope be the answer.

oh yeah, I did a search on all gdi files it was weird. I had version .1360 in system 32 however..when the search came up it displayed it was version .2180..which is odd..since I tried to copy and when I pasted it came up as version 1360..

Oh I found a gdiplus in WinSxS..its version was also .2180, and the version that is causing problems is .2180 so idk

I did that before also, it was still a failure.

Ok first off I know you are upset but triple posting is against the forum rules.

Try this, make sure you have your original Windows CD readily available.

Click Start > Run > type sfc /scannow and press enter or click ok.
It will restore the original copies of the Windows files back to the installation directory. This is not recommended if you originally had SP1 and upgraded to SP2.

Also you can try a system restore to a previous time when this was working.
