glass needs 2 at least.
are "graphics" and "gaming graphics" gray by any chance? you might not have a graphics card driver.

what graphics card does it have? you probably don't have the driver.

From what I wikied it seems to support only up to DirectX 7 so Aero won't run on it.

Thats not true. When I was on xp I played Halo and it had dirext x 9.
