Well... don't rely on price. But yeah, I'd recommend A-brand PSUs to everybody using his PC on a daily basis.

one thing that should be mentioned in this thread is to NEVER open your power supply to see if you can fix it, there is a capasitor inside that can kill you very easily

It already says not to open those on the PSU itself.
* Menthix still replaced a fan and a fuse on his PSUs tho

I managed to get a nice surge of 240V by opening mine. (Twice in under 5 mins). My own fault for having the power connected though

blah, this computer is old. its not going to get much use, especially when uni starts... i was just looking for the cheapest way to get it running for now really!
