even if i click on the actually emoticon picture or if i type the shortcut... my friend said she can see it as the emoticon, but how do i fix this, so i see the emoticon in my conversation??
i already put settings as "show emoticons" and "show custom emoticons" so i dont see why its screwing up...

This bug was confirmed by the Windows Live Messenger team and will be fixed in the next build.
For information, even if you can't see your custom emoticon, when you send the shortcut your contact will see it
