I honestly don't understand what else that could mean other than what i first thought? It's Messenger 2009 Build 14.0.8064.206.

As suggested earlier, i guess i am just misinterpreting the meaning.

it will only sort between online and offline status, not according to availability status, which would make far more sense in my opinion. Anyway i'm over it.

that is the intended result of the feature, merely to seperate the online and offline contacts, it doesn't then sort away and busy too.

does it correctly seperate online and offline for you?

well no it doesnt, because i have offline people hidden
