Close the option panel of the skin when you add a picture with the script and it should work properly.

Nope, I just tried it again & never had the options menu open either time. I keep getting the same error!

is it possible to remove the bottom live banner @ the contact window? I think Ive seen some skins without it? With that option, this skin would be MORE than the most optimal ever

Just wanted to say I got it working after & it works great! Got a nice setup on the go there now! lol thanks

I'm wondering the same as Kimball though, would be great to have that banner gone!

The script made to work with the skin provides the option you want and several others. The last one added allow to remove Messenger Aero Frame in Vista and Seven. You can download it here.

I alrready install the skin but when i click on the skin options
its pop-up a diferent option window

Make sure you've got this skin installed, then it'll ask you to restart Messenger. Then once signed in, you'll see a green tick button on your contacts list, which will bring up the big options window.

So far I like what I see, but it would be nice to provide some documentation or a help file to explain what all these different options are. For example what in the world is a "toast"? obviously you don't mean the edible kind. I'm still trying to figure out how to apply a background image to the chat window, but choosing from images I have stored on my computer rather than the default ones that come with the skin. I notice there are 4 options to use "My Picture". I assume this means an image I choose from my own pictures, but I can't figure out how to do that. Do I have to save the image I want to use to a different part of my computer? Some where in the skin files perhaps? Can anyone help me with this and explain how that all works?

Alot of the options are self explanatory and the skin itself is great and got rid of most of the things I hate about the new version so far. However not all the options are clear as to what they are so a little documentation would be great.

Edit: Also I just noticed, another option that would be great would be to move the message that lets you know when someone is typing and the time stamp that lets you know when your last message received/sent was to the bottom of the window beneath the emote, wink and other buttons.

Also it seems none of the toasts options are working. I tried changing them to several of the default pictures, changing the font size and colour but nothing changed anywhere that I could see. I thought perhaps if I changed the settings I'd see what a toast was but, when I changed the settings nothing changed so I've no idea what's going on there or if these settings are even working at all.
