Lol, just pressed CTRL-ALT-DEL to see how much my FireFox was using, guess what? IE uses way more than firefox in my case :D
IE 6 with 1 window open
FF 0.9 with 1 window (1 tab)

To install skins click the "Download skin" link on the page, NOT the "Install Skin" link and it should save a .jar. Then open the Themes window and drag and drop the .jar to the window.

new extension manager, new theme manager, faster,

there are fewer features as we aproach 1.0, as these releases foccus mainly on bugs and speed.

Get the Tabbrowser Extensios. It is a plugin with all sosrts of improvements, adjustments related to tabs. It's so to say an all-in-one plugin.
Multirow, auto-open in tabs, autoreload, dragging, grouping, multi-open/close... and a looong etc.

Old taskbar icon, I can't see any difference. But anyway, I liked old GUI buttons way better than these 2D ones :(
