You do understand that you have to make up your own key to use right?

Anyway, I'm also using WEP, I know it's easy to analyze the key of it (Had to do it myself in class), but my Nintendo DS doesn't support WPA and I don't think there are much computer savvy people around here anyway so

I just use MAC address filter.  It only allows addresses I've listed to connect.

I run a similar setup. I ran WEP for a wile then when I heard it was crack able I switched emediatly. Then again I live in a area where no one would no how to steel my connection. So instead I "borow" every one else's.

I never had a problem with my neighbours using my internet connection as long as they check their mail or surf the net or something and not using it to download from my newsserver with 1mb per second...

I don't have a wireless network setup atm but when I do, I use WPA or WEP
Wireless networks at my place are temporary and no one here uses wireless so I guess its pretty safe for me to use it the way I do

It's not your neighbours to be worried about really. When you see a white van outside your house with an aerial coming from the roof you should start to panic .

the only thing is if your neighbours have a cap on and suddenly they have no internet thats another time to be worried incase they catch youuuu!
