why would it look "rushed" IMO, this build has been made to more or less fit in with Windows Vista not WindowsXP or 2000

Yeah. I can agree with you. Windows Vista suits this build well. And it looks brilliant though I don't like it, it looks like the older version of MSN Messenger with a new design.

it saught of is the older version of MSN ( older MSN messenger Engine anyway ) , hopefully Microsoft sticks to it an not go back to the newer Engine ,

The design looks nice, and I don't like the status icons to change back to the original ones. Though it's difficult to check their status but it's better to have changes. New Name, New Icons, New everything.

i didnt like it at all at first, but once you get the settings correct and the way you like it, it becomes alot better, im actually liking it way more then before now
