I must be the only person who has loved the design of the previous Beta and the current one, The only thing which doesnt really suit for me is the return of the old buddies in the contact list.

yeah i liked the old icons too. but thank god they've got rid of that annoying thing with the scroll bar on the contact list.

one thing u have to admit tho haydn is its terrible idea getting rid of the chat logs, how dare they!!!

on 8.0.0562 the chat logs wont work for me or my friend, thats what i'm on about

Wich implies they removed chat logging, wich they haven't.

That they don't work for you or your friend does not mean they intentionally did that nor does it mean they removed chat logging. You can leave feedback/report that it doesn't work so they can look into it and solve it.

Please word your sentences differently so they really say what you mean.

Yes, it is not available via Windows Live Idea's only via Microsoft Connect to members of the Managed Beta

Maybe the old buddie icons are temporary. You know that the first beta only showed online/offline (green, light green)... now we know how it looks, i guess they are advancing them and added the old ones to make it easier to see peoples status now.

maybe because like half of the old ones are still there... ex your signing in its the green ones. your signed out its the green ones, the top left corner is the green on and finally when you recieve email or someone signs in etc its the green guy. not the aqua guy from 7.5

they started off from an older version?
