Hi guys,
I'm in deep need for farther assistance in this windows live removal issue.
My System is as follows
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
There is enough disk space.
The most wrong that I did is that I've uninstalled Windows live messenger.
So I can't install it again if i did it says it's already installed and if i installed older version it says u have newer one.
I keep having errors even I have uninstall it many times using 3rd party programs like "your uninstaller" "perfect uninstaller".
and i used "Zap Messenger" it  took more than an hour in vain.
It still says "it's already installed".

So, can U help in this case.

Which version of Windows Live Messenger did you have installed that you were trying to remove?

I tried to uninstall
Windows Live Messenger
file version 14.0.8117.416

How did you try uninstalling it?  What was the first method you tried?

i just uninstalled it from programs and features in control panel

but it seems that there is still some files that are not removed

then i tried other programs to uninstall it

Try using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove any Windows Live Messenger entries, it worked for me when I last had problems of this nature.

I used it and uninstalled windows live applications
then i restarted but when i install, it give the same result"you already have a more recent version of windows live"

Try using the same version as you previously had installed and it should let you do it
