So, I haven't even found this answer on the internet so I'm thinking it isnt here.
There is only 1 skin i want with the messenger plus.
It says i can't use it with my particular version of messenger which is the latest version.
Can someone please explain it to me.
Why should i go to the trouble of having messenger plus if i can't have the 1 skin i want.

Im asking if anyone knows about Messenger 8.5 and why I can't find a download for it.
There is 1 perticular skin i want and I need that version.
They advertise "easyness" and I am finding that, that's not the case at all.

All users were forced to upgrade to 9.0. Only people on windows 2000 afaik or xp even can use 8.5.

Or you can install it under compatibility mode.

Windows Live Messenger 8.5 is no longer available to download and users are not able to log into it without modification or workarounds. Any of these workarounds will not allow Messenger Plus! Live to integrate, therefore any skin will not work either.

The only old version of Messenger that still work that still work is MSN Messenger 7.0 (usable with Messenger Plus 3.63) and it is only available to be installed on Windows 2000 and earlier.
