windows live asked my to update the windows live essential urgently or something like that so i clicked update
and now all of the msg plus features has gone and i got brand new ugly and shitty messanger
is my only option is to uninstall the current and reinstall msg plus? cause if i do it i will need to backup histories and then move them to the new msg plus directory and things like that..

Click on the button in the upper-right, just under the close button. That will return you to the familiar Messenger layout.

Messenger Plus! isn't fully compatible with Live Messenger 2011 yet. A fully compatible Plus! version is expected in December. However, Plus! 4.9 is already partly compatible, see Plus 4.9 on WLM 2011. Which features work and which ones don't.

You don't have to uninstall Messenger Plus!. Plus! isn't causing the new look. If you really want to go back you'll just have to uninstal Windows Live Essentials 2011, reboot, and download and uninstall the latest Live Messenger 2009 build. But try switching to the regular Messenger layout in 2011 first as described above.

You either have..

Windows Live Messenger 2009 + Messenger Plus! Live (fully compatible)

OR

Windows Live Messenger 2011 + Messenger Plus! Live (only partly compatible until Plus!5 is released in December)

all i had to do is to uninstall the essential 2011 and install the messenger 2009 as Menthix said and all got back as it was

I don't understand how it's possibile that in the screenshot the display name of the contacts is displayed... or at least it looks so because I know that the full name can't contain special characters like [ and ] !
