I don't know what MyBB version this forum is using, but according 2.5 year old topic Don't output smiles during [code][/code]. the smiles in code block bug was fixed in v1.2

See your link now. So, it's actually "a future"...oh well, normally (with common sense) there is a different tag where one would post code with their own highlighting, apparently not here...
Now that I know of [code=blah] should be good enough.

This forum is weird (no offense), first we should not revive old topics, now the [code] is not like everywhere else...what else?

wdz, one of the admin, has customized (& optimized) the code of an old mybb version. so it's no longer really a version of mybb
