I tried to add someone but he didn't get a notification, so he added me instead but I didn't get one either. I have the "notify me when somebody adds me to their Contact List" thing ticked and when I go to Privacy > View, he isn't on the list of people who've added me. What gives?

Also, I'm using the 2009 version of msn.

I'm sure someone said that this is a new 'feature' to stop contact spam.

When you add someone, they have to add you too.

However, I don't think this is the case with everybody. (yet).

That makes no sense since we've both added each other by now. Well... "added."
