I installed messenger plus 5 here, and does not work, nothing changed on my msn.
I am using windows live messenger 2011.

Working and fully compatible after several months of hype for the launch: FAILED

What a waste of time guys...

At which stage did WLM fail?

MSGPLUS 5 did, not WLM 2011: before or after the installation of MSGPLUS 5, there is no difference at all in WLM 2011.

A few things that might be the cause...

• Are you using Messenger 2011 in compatibility mode?
  
• Are you using any other Messenger add-ons or patches like: A-Patch, MessePatch, SweetIM, Smiley Central, Kiwee, Messenger discovery, MSN Shell?
  
• Any other apps which are known to cause problems like: GDI++, ThreatFire, PC Tools Spyware Doctor, Bandoo, HiYo, Kingsoft, Internet Security, AirFoil, MapleStory (MMORPG), BabylonIM?
  
• Have you tried uninstalling Messenger Plus! -> Uninstalling Windows Live Messenger -> Re-install Live Messenger -> Re-install Messenger Plus!?
