Hi!
I've finally moved to WLM 2011 as I was waiting for a fully compatible version of Plus!, especially to maintain chat logs.

So far nothing to complain about, but the chat logs seem to lose the very first sentences or actions of a conversation.
Today I nudged a contact, she nudged me and then we talked. The nudges (and her status change between them) were not saved.
Then a FB contact wrote to me but his first sentence was not saved.

Is somebody noticing the same or similar issues with the chat logs?

If I notice other problems or find a "rule" to understand when it happens, I'll post here.

Locally.

In here is all ok.

Try make it:

Go to Preferences & Options > Logs > Chat Logging.

Then check option "Record contact's activities (ex: status change)".

Then save. Messenger will be restarted.

This is something which has been cropping up now and then since version 4 (or even 3?). If I'm not mistaken, Patchou once said this is due to a bug in WLM itself, which doesn't broadcast the recieved message properly, hence Messenger Plus! can't see it and thus can't log it....

Or something similar...

Either way, this is a very old issue and apparently not yet fixed. Maybe it is time to really look into this one and try to come up with a fix or workaround....
