Why does this site use such an old version of MyBB? 1.00 is nearly 7 years old and has huge security issues.

You really should be using the latest version, 1.6.1.

It's a heavily modified build, with (hopefully) all exploits fixed. WDZ is the one you'd have to blame .

Also we're switching soon anyways.

VB4 is a total disaster and so is IPB  but i wouldnt worry to much about this board as yuna have there own board we'll all go to at some stage when they decide to pull this forum down an release there own , im sure there will be exploits in there forum. 

The new forum is custom code if I'm not mistaken (I could be wrong). The current forums are not so much MyBB anymore, but are more like a branch from what was MyBB at the time. WDZ Kept pretty active in the MyBB community for a while watching bugs and patching this forum as needed.
