I've installed Windows Live Messenger 7 (Actually called MSN Messenger 7) on a computer with Windows 2000 SP4.
Internet Explorer 6 sp1 is also installed.
I'm trying to install Messenger Plus Live! v3, but I don't get the option to choose a target location like "C:\program files\".
The program starts with the installation, but I can't get further.
Without the target location I can't get further.
I have all the rights as Admin, but the installation won't succeed.
I've tried downloading the program from different sources, but have gotten the same result ever since.
The installation of other programs works spotless.
Who can help me?
English:
I'm believe Messenger Plus! Live should locate the Messenger installation automatically. Where exactly does the install stop?
Downloading from different sources other than the official Messenger Plus! site shouldn't help, other than risking getting a version infected with spyware.
Nederlands:
