i up graded to windows messenger 2011.... at first i could sign in on my laptop and via meebo through my phone . Then last sunday it wont let me sign in both places at the same time ... Not sure what happened
any help much appreciated ..

The section you posted in is related to Messenger Plus! not Windows Live Messenger.

Do you have Messenger Plus! installed by any chance? If you do enable polygamy (ability to load multiple Windows Live Messengers) and see if you can log in twice.

Well, like Natalie said, It'll allow you to run multiple Windows Live Messenger's on your computer.

I think the OP is referring to MPOP, not polygamy.

They are but a way to test it to see if the service is causing problems is to enable polygamy and test it.

Check the options Messenger/MeeBo. Maybe you disabled the multiple-sign function.
