You use to be able to search for X in all chat logs. It would list conversations that contained X. You open a convo up and you can find X in that convo since it may appear multiple times....

I wonder if MessengerDiscovery's logs are compatible with Plus!'s

If you wangt to file a bug report, at least state the Plus!, Messenger and Windows versions you're using and provide a detailed description and/or screenshot. You know the drill...

An afterthought.

Since the other subject is handled in that other thread I'll only reply to that afterthought:

Messenger Discovery's logs are not 'compatible' with Plus! logs in the way that they have a different layout.

However, note that the Log Viewer of Plus! can read and show any text file as long as its has the TXT file extension. Thus if you put a textual log in the log directories (and it has a TXT extension), The Log Viewer will read and display it. Text logs do not need to have a specific layout....

The same goes for HTML and HTM files: if you put an HTML or HTM file in the log directory and it is properly rendered, the Log Viewer will be able to display it....

Reason for this is that the Log Viewer is in essence nothing more than an Internet Explorer instance.
