O.P. Best IM for iPhone/iPod
I've been using eBuddy for a while, but I hate when I swap apps and when I go back to eBuddy I'm signed off. I'm trying to find the best app with WLM and Google Talk that won't sign off (so often, at least). Do you have recommendations?

I've been using Nimbuzz for a while now, it's pretty nice.
It supports Push notifications and multitasking, and it's free
[By the way, have a GameCenter account? ]

I'll check it out. More suggestions are welcome.
[Nope, no money to buy games (and not much time to play them)]

I use Trillian on Android, which used to be paid but recently made free. Has some good features, and I know there's an iPhone version (dunno if that's been made free yet, though).

The Meebo app is good, can keep you signed in even when the app isn't running and it sends you push notifications of incoming messages

eBuddy can also keep you online when it's closed. Indeed, i'm still online, but when I reopen the app, it shows the log in window.
I used Trillian waaaay ago (for PC), I didn't know it was free now. Checking out.
I tried Meebo once, I didn't like for the reason (I can't remember).
Thanks.

WTF is wrong with Trillian? It's like the worst IM I've tried!
About Beejive... I don't know... I couldn't get used to it.
After all, eBuddy seems to be the best (or the least defective).
