Please open BitDefender in Expert Mode, choose the Antivirus module and click on the Advanced Settings button. Disable Active Virus Control and look if you are able to login normally. This may work. If not, try disabling "Real Time Protection" temporarily. If that works, You'll need to submit a bug report with bitdefender (they've had similar issues for quote some time according to the above thread).
