Hi, I Just installed Messenger plus and I tried to record incoming call but it doesn't record the video, just record the voice and chatting screen without the video I can't understand what is the problem... I will appreciate any help... Thanks

We will need some more info to find what that might be, so please answer the following:

1. Are you using Skype in compact view or in the default view?
2. When in video chat do you use anything other than what is shown by default, for example pop-out video? If you do, are you expecting it to record the pop-out video/other video screen?
3. Can you show us a side-by-side screenshot of what you see on your desktop and what is being recorded? Please blank out any personal information, like Skype name(s). You can attach it to your post.
4. Additional information: OS and Skype version

Hi Thanks for the reply.. I am using Skype from my laptop and I am using HP Media Smart webcam. it is coming as default when I start any video call. I am also using the default view on skype. and I am expecting messenger plus to record the normal video but instead it ignore the video and just record the voice and chatting screen..

Yes, only 1 attachment per post. You could have just written down the OS (Vista Home Premium SP2, 32 bits) and Skype info (version 5.8.0.154). You can delete the last two posts now (red x at bottom right of your post), please leave the first.

As for the first screenshot you posted, the one of your desktop: You did blank out so much it is hard to see what is what at a glance but it will do.

Before I pass this on to the devs I have one more question:
What screen resolution does your notebook have?

My laptop screen resolution is 1360 by 768 Pixels.. let me know if you want me to take another one.. I really appreciate your help.. Thanks alot

Yup same problem. It records voice and the skype ims lol but not the video calls i i tried some dumb but simple things to fix it such as full screen haha and of course that did not work i dunno if you guys have found a reason why yet or not but all help would be appreciated thx

Has this issue been resolved/addressed?
I have  tried today for the first time to record a video call, and ended up with sound and my IM screen for the chat in course...

Skype 6.3.0.105
Messenger Plus! 1.8.0.124
running (or crawling...) on Windows Vista Home Premium
